Elliptical trainer - An elliptical trainer (also cross trainer) is a stationary exercise equipment used to simulate walking or running without causing pressure to the joints and hence decreases the risk of impact injuries.

Elliptical wing - An elliptical wing is an aircraft wing planform shape introduced in the 1930s and designed to minimize induced drag. The elliptical taper shortens the chord near the wingtips in such a way that all parts of the wing contribute equally to lift which improves aerodynamic efficiency (greater Oswald efficiency number in the induced drag equation).
Jillian Michaels (personal trainer) - Jillian Michaels is a personal trainer, and appears on the television series The Biggest Loser (US) as the trainer for the red team. She travelled to Australia in 2006 for the filming of an Australian version of The Biggest Loser.
